Sixteen-year old Sam knows life will never be easy for her. Socially awkward, armed with a brilliant mind, feisty character and odd dreams, she struggles with things that other teenagers find normal. Only her best friend Jasper really understands her.
Eighteen-year old college student Jasper strives to be the perfect son to his successful parents, working himself to the ground to make his family proud. Up until the point that his heart fails.
The best friends learn the devastating news that Jasper is dying and hasn’t got much time left. Leaving everyone they know behind, the two head to London, where Jasper auditions for an ambitious talent hunt. With nothing left to lose, he throws himself into the contest, not realizing he will soon have to face the harsh consequences of his actions.
Struggling with the situation, Sam tries to support Jasper as much as she can. In the end though, both can’t help but wonder: was pursuing the ultimate goal against all cost, worth it after all?
